The iPod Mini was available in six colours and my personal favourite was the silver variant that I still own today. It came either with 4 or 6GB of storage and had a monochrome LCD for browsing music and menus. One had to physically push the edge of the wheel inwards for each of the four functions. It was also the first iPod that featured the touch-sensitive scroll wheel and was later used in every iPod from then on. It has all the features youd expect, including the ability to rip songs from your CDs, a pretty good music library, and enough skins to give you a look that suits you. Windows Media Player comes with your computer, and works pretty well, so many of us use it and enjoy it.
